Online Vision Self-Check
This online vision self-check helps you notice common changes in your eyesight.
It is not a medical diagnosis, but it can help you decide whether you should consult an eye specialist.
Many eye conditions develop gradually and without pain. Early awareness can help protect your vision.
1. Distance Vision Check
Instructions:
- Stand about 2–3 meters away from your screen
- Cover one eye, then test the other eye
- Try to read the largest letters you can see clearly
If the letters appear blurred, unclear, or difficult to read, a professional eye examination is recommended.
2. Astigmatism Awareness Check
Instructions:
- Look at the center of the image below
- Do some lines appear darker, blurrier, or more distorted than others?
If the lines do not appear equally sharp, this may be associated with astigmatism and should be assessed by an eye specialist.
3. Central Vision Check
Instructions:
- Cover one eye
- Focus on the dot in the centre
- Do any lines appear wavy, missing, or distorted?
Distortion, missing areas, or wavy lines in central vision should always be examined by an ophthalmologist.
