The strength of The Eye Center lies in our people. We have assembled a team of eight highly qualified ophthalmologists and eye surgeons, each with specialized training in different areas of eye care.
Our doctors include experts in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, cornea and refractive surgery (including LASIK), vitreo-retinal diseases, pediatric ophthalmology, and oculoplastics (eyelid and cosmetic eye surgery).

Leading our team is Dr. Mahnaz Naveed Shah, our Founder and Medical Director. Dr. Shah is an internationally trained ophthalmologist and one of Pakistan’s most respected eye surgeons. She completed her medical education and advanced ophthalmology training in the United States, becoming board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
After practicing abroad, she returned to Karachi to establish The Eye Center in 2011 with the vision of bringing world-class eye care to her community. With over 20 years of experience (and particular expertise in glaucoma care), Dr. Shah’s leadership has set the tone for excellence and integrity at our clinic.
